In March of 1963, The Beatles were the opening band on the Chris Montez-Tommy Roe Tour of the UK. Both of those artists had recent hits and were headlining the show. At that time, The  Beatles were relatively unknown. Chris had never heard of them. But during the tour Please Please Me was released, and The Beatles became the headliners for the rest of the tour. Thanks to Chris for this photo.
